Our Restorations

The Remembrance Trust has restored graves all over the world through the efforts of our staff and dedicated volunteers, generously supported by both different foundations and individual donors. Below you can find some examples of such restorations, divided by burial site, with a short biography of the person commemorated there. Our upcoming work involves restoring the Brigade of Guards Monument at Brompton Cemetery in London. We have also undertaken to work with the Worshipful Company of Paviors to restore the Great West Window at Rochester Cathedral, the stained glass of which features a memorial to the men of the Royal Engineers who died in service between 1838 and 1881.
